Bacoor High School new faculty room

No more offices in toilets

Teachers at Bacoor National High School will feel relieved as they will now have their own office spaces following the viral photo and videos that surfaced online showing teachers holding offices in the school restroom.

The toilet rooms in Bacoor National High School turned office for teachers that went viral after one of its teacher posted them online.

Education Undersecretary Jesus Mateo and Carlito Rocafort, Department of Education (DepEd) regional director in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) step in to address the issue pledging to allocated funds to build a permanent faculty room for the school.

At the moment, the teachers are allowed to use the school social hall as their new faculty room.

Maricel Herrera, the teacher who posted the photos and videos that went viral, said that the problem started only this year when DepEd decided to remove the night classes, which required them to convert their old faculty room into additional classrooms for students to use.
